The Internet is a haven for many people. Often, people who
have never seen each other in person become close friends in front of the
computer screen, and meet/chat/argue on various boards. We can get close,
and sometimes we even make up our own language, or at least our own slang
and jargon. This board isn't exempt from it either, LOL...Those on the
Alexei Yagudin Discussion Group have compiled a list of "Alexei-related
terms" which are so frequently used on our posts, that our newbies get
"congused," LOL. So, if you're ever reading the board and come
across some phrase or word that throws you off totally, it'll probably be
here, complete with its originating person and definition. For certain
definitions, I (being the decorum judge on said board) might have to, um,
make it family friendly...
Many of our board terms originated from typos, some from
one too many hours in front of the computer, and some others with ahem
other things in mind... |
